Getting started
Connect a Gmail account and run your first sync and AI analysis in Selyf.
1. Connect a Google account
Go to selyf.com and choose “Connect Google”. You're sent to Google's own sign-in and consent screen, where Selyf requests exactly one scope: read-only Gmail access. See Authentication for the exact OAuth flow.
2. Run a sync
Once connected, the dashboard fetches inbox metadata (subject, sender, snippet, timestamps) in a bounded, paginated batch. Additional pages are fetched on demand.
3. Analyze a thread
Opening a thread and choosing "Analyze this email" sends that thread’s content to the configured AI provider and returns a priority, reply status, a reason, a suggested action, and a confidence score.
4. Generate a draft (optional)
"Generate Reply with AI" produces an editable draft. The draft is copied to the clipboard for you to paste and send in Gmail yourself — nothing here ever sends a message on your behalf.
5. Disconnect or delete at any time
Nothing above ever sends, deletes, or modifies a message in your mailbox. An account can be disconnected or permanently deleted at any time from Selyf's Security page.
